Security Site Supervisor - Armed
About the role
The Armed Security Site Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. They will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, effective communication, and the ability to manage a team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer
- Act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns
- Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range
- Ensure that officers receive appropriate training and development
- Communicate staffing needs to Operation Manager, including using the Requisition process and interviewing candidates
- Afford assistance in resolving employee grievances
- Manage crisis situations at the client site with calmness and efficiency
- Utilize scheduling and billing software to produce reports for effective business management
- Assure that employees adhere to safety protocols and policies
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Able to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
