About the role

The Armed Security Site Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer, acting as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers. They will supervise site staff, provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Responsibilities

  • Handle crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
  • Utilize scheduling and billing software to produce reports (e.g., Scheduling Activity, Training Detail) requiring interpretation and action for effective business management.
  • Communicate staffing needs to the Operation Manager, including using the Requisition process, assisting in identifying and interviewing quality candidates.
  • Ensure officers receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills, including performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, evaluations, recognition).
  • Address employee grievances with support from appropriate branch or region HR.
  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CA driver’s license (held for more than one year) with a clean driving record.
  • Current CA firearm permit.
  • Open availability, including weekends and weekdays.
  • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of personnel and the public professionally.
  • Licensing requirements as dictated by state and/or local laws (may be required prior to employment).
  • Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
