As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Mall Center in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and appropriate emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout shopping common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help address policy violations, assist with crowd flow, and/or support a professional environment for guests and personnel.
• Communicate with site contacts, local responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other conditions that may require attention.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
