Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Shopping Center in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment while representing a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout shopping areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
- Support retail location operations by assisting with crowd management, monitoring after-hours activity, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or access control concerns to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Licensing Requirements
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
