Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, high-traffic areas, and store activity for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, and document findings according to site procedures.
- Support closing, opening, and general retail operations by observing restricted areas, assisting with crowd and line management, and communicating with staff regarding security-related issues.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
