About the role

This part‑time Security Officer Patrol Driver position in Madison, WI, serves and safeguards clients in industries such as retail and malls. The role includes flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and the ability to claim additional shifts through the “Claim a Shift” platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and the documentation of incidents, patrols, and daily activities.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements as required by state and/or local laws, which may be required prior to employment.
