As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Shopping Center in LAUREL, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will respond to concerns, document activities, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial real estate common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and access points to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required activity logs.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
- Report property concerns, maintenance-related hazards, and security-related incidents to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay
$19.06 per hour.
