Security Officer Visitor Registration Support

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a residential location, you will welcome residents and visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Your visible presence and clear communication will help support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a residential property.
• Monitor access to the property from the front desk, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain appropriate entry records.
• Respond to resident requests, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain front desk logs, receive and route deliveries, communicate relevant information to property staff, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining an attentive presence at the front desk and following established access-control procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
