Security Officer Visitor Registration

About the role

As a Security Officer Visitor Registration in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, and maintain a professional, courteous presence. You will monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials as required, and document arrivals, departures, and other relevant activity. You will respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. You will maintain accurate logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, and maintain a professional, courteous presence.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials as required, and document arrivals, departures, and other relevant activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
