As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned manufacturing areas, parking locations, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by following visitor management, badge control, and delivery procedures.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $19.54 / Hour
