As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Carlisle, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Position Type: Full Time, Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour, Job Schedule: DayTime, Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, visitor authorization, delivery appointments, and entry/exit documentation.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and loading areas; document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and dock areas to help deter unauthorized access and report potential security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
