Job Description

As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a retail location, you will greet visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Greet and direct visitors, manage access control processes, verify visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor front-desk activity, incoming communications, and designated systems, reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response procedures.
• Aid with reception-related administrative duties, including answering phones, receiving deliveries, and communicating with site personnel and/or authorized vendors.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
