About the role

As a Front Desk Security Officer at an automotive manufacturing location, you will be the welcoming presence for employees, visitors, and vendors. You will support access control, manage badges, monitor alarm panels, and communicate professionally while helping to maintain a secure environment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
Serve as the primary front-desk contact, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor logs.
Monitor access to the facility, screen incoming calls and deliveries, and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports and other required documentation while providing a professional, courteous presence at the front desk.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
