About the role
As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver with a required Department of Defense Secret security clearance in McKinney, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. In this driving post, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and emergency response protocols at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from designated personnel and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts and/or policy violations in accordance with site requirements.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations through clear, accurate reports and promptly communicate concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Pay
$19.17 per hour.
