Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, access points, and perimeter areas within a professional aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders during investigations, evacuations, and other security-related events.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Experience in security-related roles.
• Ability to respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.
• Proficiency in computer and tablet usage.
