As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver Security Clearance in Clearfield, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site requirements, reporting unauthorized access attempts and maintaining required logs.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
- Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity reports, and other documentation while maintaining professional communication and confidentiality.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay & Schedule
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $24.18 / Hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
