Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver Security Clearance

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aero and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post instructions, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying the appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify potential concerns at this aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access in accordance with site protocols, and report discrepancies through established channels.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and contractors while assisting with security-related inquiries and site rules.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
• Proficiency in computer or tablet usage.
