Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an educational campus environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Carry out regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain visibility in high-traffic areas to support authorized access, provide directions and assistance, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or security-related concerns.
• Aid with access control, incident reporting, and after-hours building checks while following Allied Universal standards and location expectations.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age or older.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
