Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry points, common areas, and/or exterior spaces, assisting with access control procedures and reporting maintenance, lighting, or property-related concerns observed during patrols.
- Support day-to-day operations at the location by following post orders, assisting with tenant and visitor inquiries, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and/or observed conditions.
Minimum Requirements
- Security-related experience of at least 6 months is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
