About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized behavior.
- Monitor for theft-related concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity, and communicate with store leadership and emergency personnel when needed.
Requirements
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
- Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
Skills
- Computer skills (preferred).
- Customer service experience (preferred).
