Security Officer Unarmed - Site Access

About the role

As an Access Control Security Officer at a leading automotive location in Moncks Corner, SC, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, parking areas, vehicle access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Report security-related observations, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (required for this driving position).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Note: On-site facilities are limited (e.g., portable toilets, rustic guard shacks). Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$17.50 per hour.

• Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Wednesday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
