Security Officer Unarmed - Site Presence

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Site Presence in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry for employees, vendors, and drivers, and document visitor and vehicle activity according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs, communicating security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Prior experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$16.15 / Hour

Schedule

• DayTime: Thursday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM
