About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public transit location in Seattle, WA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, riders, and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and document activities while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, public areas, and transportation-related operations for unusual activity, and report observations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and interactions accurately, and communicate with site representatives, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- State, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$29.93 / hour

- Thursday: 04:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Friday: 04:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Saturday: 04:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Sunday: 04:00 AM - 02:00 PM
