Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Access in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and/or observe visitor and vehicle entry activity in accordance with site protocols to help support authorized access throughout the location.
• Report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior promptly, and assist with routine site operations related to security-related awareness and incident response.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
