Security Officer Unarmed Site Detail

About the role

Award-winning security and facility services company Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Site Detail in Spartanburg, SC. This position serves and protects clients in various industries including cultural institutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and guests by following site-specific procedures and access-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, disruptions, and critical situations calmly and problem-solve, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain visibility to manage authorized access, observe visitor activity, and report security concerns.
• Support day-to-day operations during services, events, and community programs by providing a visible presence, answering questions, and managing traffic and crowd movement.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screening required.
• Licenses may be required based on state and local laws.
• A valid driver's license for driving positions.

Pay

$14.00 per hour

Schedule

Daytime shift: Mon-Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
