Security Officer Unarmed PT Patrol

About the role

Part Time Hourly pay $18.30/hr

Responsibilities

• Routine Patrol in Reston, VA
• Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas
• Stay visible to help deter security-related incidents
• Support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Document observations and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter access points
• Maintain a professional presence while monitoring entrances, exits, and common areas
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and adherence to location protocols
• Report maintenance concerns, security-related hazards, and policy violations
• Provide clear written and verbal updates during shift activity

Requirements

• A minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience
• Must be 21+ years of age
• A guard card/license is preferred
• Pepper spray certification is preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

Fri & Sat 6:30pm-12:30am
Sun 4:30pm-8:30pm
