Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to airport visitors, tenants, employees, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned terminal-adjacent commercial areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and irregularities.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
