As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. You will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and support for visitors and staff while upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at county government facilities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Maintain required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and law enforcement as appropriate.
- Carry authorized equipment, including a firearm, in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
Requirements
- Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Qualifications
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay: $23.75 / Hour
Schedule: Daytime, Monday 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Tuesday 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Friday 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
