About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Site Awareness in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or other campus community members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence-related locations, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe campus activity, and report unusual conditions, hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic educational environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
