Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Security Awareness in Inglewood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-focused culture.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries, documenting observations and irregular conditions.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and employee credentials in accordance with site procedures and directing authorized personnel appropriately.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited activities through a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
