Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating clearly with store personnel, visitors, and/or local responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, stock areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or incidents according to site procedures.
• Support loss prevention efforts by reporting suspicious behavior, assisting with crowd management during busy periods, and/or helping with orderly response to alarms or emergency situations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
