Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Watcher in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public agencies when needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe public areas, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders and location procedures.
- Support crowd management and access control during peak travel periods, service disruptions, special events, and/or emergency situations while maintaining a visible presence.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Baton certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
