Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Role

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Tech/Media/Telecom, you will also support a caring culture while making a meaningful impact each day.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, or policy violations.
• Support day-to-day operations by preparing reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and assisting with security-related requests in alignment with Allied Universal standards and client site expectations.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
