Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Role

About the role

Apart from providing security services in manufacturing and industrial locations, you will also have the opportunity to work flexible hours through the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policies, and report irregularities involving restricted areas, equipment, or deliveries.
• Support operational continuity by communicating clearly with supervisors, employees, and/or contractors regarding post orders, incident updates, and security-related procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
