Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Role

About the role

Apart from providing customer service and responding to incidents, this role involves conducting patrols and monitoring areas to deter unwanted activity.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site-specific procedures and access-related policies
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations calmly and document observations
• Conduct regular and random patrols to help deter unwanted activity and identify issues
• Maintain awareness of security-related conditions and assist with visitor access and directions
• Communicate with site contacts, guests, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents and service needs

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• A high school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen, and possess a valid driver's license for driving positions.

Skills

Customer service skills, ability to respond calmly to incidents, and knowledge of security protocols are essential.
