About the role
As an unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for guests and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns, document observations, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and delivery activity according to site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
- Communicate observed concerns and incident details promptly to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
