About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Perimeter Inspection in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail and mall destination, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to visitors, tenants, and team members. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information with Allied Universal leadership, property representatives, and emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Full Time. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour. Schedule: Day Time, Monday 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM, Tuesday 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM, Wednesday 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM, Friday 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM.
