Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
• Assist with access control activities by monitoring entrances, checking identification as required, and providing directions or support to visitors and staff within a healthcare location.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
