Job Description
As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Theodore, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Support a professional environment by assisting employees, visitors, and/or contractors with directions, information, and other site-related needs while following Allied Universal standards.
Minimum Requirements
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
