Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to document observations and/or reported concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or maintenance-related issues that may require notification.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and/or adherence to location protocols.
• Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, emergencies, and daily activity as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
