Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, technology, and/or telecommunications locations, including interior areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter spaces.
• Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in support of daily operations at the location.
• Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or public visitors regarding security-related concerns, directions, and incident information as needed.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
