Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Lathrop, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, vendors, and visitors, helping to support orderly site operations and accurate visitor and/or vehicle activity records.
• Observe shipping, receiving, and freight movement areas for suspicious or unauthorized activity, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or procedural concerns according to site expectations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
