What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, assisting with visitor direction, access control, and documentation of unusual conditions.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports related to patrol activities, incidents, and/or property conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
