Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, exterior perimeters, parking areas, and common spaces, to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, observe visitor activity, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property issues that could affect daily operations.
• Support a professional atmosphere within a commercial real estate location by providing directions, answering questions, and helping to address routine tenant and guest concerns in a courteous manner.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
