About the role
As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Operations in Bristol, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, loading docks, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Support loss prevention efforts by observing for unauthorized removal of materials or products and promptly reporting concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
