Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Operations

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to alarm-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help verify that authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers follow site entry, exit, and credentialing requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
