Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following posted policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant security-related details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas, to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by communicating with employees, visitors, and drivers, providing directions, and assisting with routine security-related questions and/or requests.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
• Licensed by the New York State Department of State.

Skills

• Security-related experience.
• Customer service experience.
