Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution in Brownsville, TX, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, access protocols, and site-specific policies at the financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor entrances and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Document patrol activity and incidents accurately and promptly, and communicate concerns to the appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.00 / Hour

• Wednesday: 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Thursday: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Friday: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
