Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vendor activity in accordance with site policies, documenting observations and reporting irregularities to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Qualifications
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Preferred Skills
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day Time, Mon 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM, Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
