Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Incident Reporting

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Reporting in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries, including healthcare. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site‑specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor directions, enforce access‑control procedures, and report unauthorized entry attempts or other security‑related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal supervision and site representatives regarding incidents, patrol observations, and shift activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21 + for armed roles).
• Experience using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Pass a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.

Daytime shifts:

• Wednesday: 1:45 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 1:45 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 1:45 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 1:45 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 1:45 PM – 10:00 PM
